How it works

Granular sodium bentonite is enclosed between a woven and a non-woven geotextile. On contact with water it hydrates and swells; confined between the structure and the ground it forms a waterproof layer that also seals small cracks. The self-anchoring structure bonds mechanically to the concrete poured against the sheet. Minimum overlap 10 cm.
